PUT-N-BAY ($80)

Our day on the shores of Lake Erie will include a ferry ride to historic SOUTH BASS ISLAND.  While there, enjoy the delights of island living and explore the many specialty shops and restaurants, and see the view from the Admiral Perry Monument.  You may wish to take the tram tour around the island to the winery and Crystal Cave, rent a bicycle or golf cart for the day, or just relax.  Lunch is on your own.

CLEVELAND INDIANS VS. NEW YORK YANKEES ($92)

“Let’s Go Out to the Ball Game” at Jacobs Field in downtown Cleveland as the Indians take on the (sometimes) mighty Yankees.  Game time is tentatively 7:05p.m. (Subject to change). Firework game! Seats are lower box in section 130.

FALLINGWATER/OAKHURST/FLIGHT 93 MEMORIAL ($80)

Our destination today is the moving memorial to the heroes of 9/11 at the Flight 93 Memorial and new visitor center.  Lunch will be at Oakhurst Tea Room followed by a visit to Frank Lloyd Wright’s home built for the Kaufmanns in the Laurel Highlands.

CHAUTAUQUA INSTITUTION ARTS & CRAFTS SHOW ($42)

This enchanting Victorian Village and National Historic Landmark, center for entertainment and education and summer resort, is a fascinating destination.  The juried craft show on the grounds has over 70 quality exhibitors, but the grounds themselves are worth the trip.  The landscaping, the cottages, the Athenaeum Hotel and the lake are a sight to behold.  A stop will be made at a local produce market before entering the grounds.

JULY 10 - SUN

“PHANTOM OF THE OPERA” AT PLAYHOUSE SQUARE ($125)

This spectacular new productionat the Playhouse Square in Cleveland is one not to be missed!!  Critics are raving that this breathtaking production is “bigger and better” than before.  Favorites like “Music of the Night”, “All I Ask of You” and “Masquerade” are performed by a cast of over 52 making this one of the largest productions now on tour.  A meal stop will be made prior to the 6:30p.m.  show.

THE BEATLES MAGICAL HISTORY TOUR ($76)

If you missed the Beatles in 1964, here’s a second chance!!  The Magical Mystery Tour: A Beatles Memorabilia Exhibition makes it U.S. premier at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI.  View personal belongings, letters, including the original “break-up letter” from John to Paul, rare photographs, artifacts; some never before on display!!  This is in addition to the already fascinating exhibits at the Henry Ford Museum.

JULY 16 - SAT           

PITTSBURGH—“FOR THE BIRDS” ($80)

Begin the day at the National Aviary in Pittsburgh where you can encounter rare, exotic and endangered birds from across the globe.  From vibrant songbirds to powerful raptors, each of the birds you uncover is more fascinating and beautiful than the last.  There will be time for lunch on your own at Station Square before taking a 60 minute land and sea ride with Just Ducky Tours aboard that “thing”. It's an amphibious truck built during WWII for transporting goods and soldiers over land and water.  A ride on the Duquesne Incline to the top of Mount Washington will end the day.

WHEELING ITALIAN FESTIVAL AND WHEELING ISLAND ($39)

Our day begins at the Wheeling Island Racetrack and Casino where everyone will get a casino package, tba. A stop will be made at the Upper Ohio Valley Italian Heritage Festival which is the largest Italian Festival in West Virginia and the 2nd largest in the United States!  Food, free entertainment, and arts & crafts booths are scattered throughout the midway.

MARINELAND in NIAGARA FALLS, CANADA ($95)

Remember when you could take your kids to Sea World in Ohio.  Do you miss those days? Well, Canada’s Marineland is chock full of Dolphin, Whale and Seals who entertain. In addition there are rides, games and food. Children under 16 are not required to have a passport, only a birth certificate.  Adults must have a passport card or passport.

“I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” at Mountain Playhouse ($89)

Our first stop on this entertaining evening will be at picturesque Oakhurst Tea Room for their sumptuous dinner smorgasbord. Next stop will be the nearby Mountain Playhouse, one of the longest standing summer stock theater’s in America, for “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” a comedic look at the reality of relationships that was a smash hit Off-Broadway for years.

NIAGARA ON THE LAKE/ PEACH FESTIVAL ($65)

Visit this quaint Canadian town on the day of the annual Peach Festival.  In addition to the wonderful landscaping, charming shops and eateries, on this day, the Peach is celebrated with a craft show on Queen Street, and peach cooking demonstrations complete with tasting.  This is a perennial favorite stop will be made to see Niagara Falls with time for dinner at a place of your choice. A passport or the new U.S. Passport Card is necessary to enter Canada.

AUGUST 20 - SAT

D-DAY CONNEAUT, OH ($45)

This annual re-creation of the World War II D-day invasion of Normandy is the largest living history reenactment in the country.  Featuring over 1500 re-enactors, spectators will witness men, women and their machines perform a living tribute to the vets of WWII through dress, mock battles (with noisy guns) and living history displays. Beach cover will be provided by the Yankee Warrior and heavy artillery will be present.  We’ll arrive in plenty of time for the 11:00a.m. Battle and stay until 5:00p.m. when the encampments close. Bring a portable lawn chair.  We will park near one of the frequent shuttles to the park and vendors will be on hand to purchase lunch.

“STEEL MAGNOLIA’S” at PLAYHOUSE SQUARE ($99)

Remember those sweet sweet southern belles with the hearts of steel?  Here they are on the stage for your entertainment at the Allen Theater in Cleveland.  Come and see them as they portray their lives full of fun, heartbreak and passion.  You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll marvel at the “Steel Magnolia’s”. A dinner stop will be made after the matinee performance.

CREATION MUSEUM EXPRESS (ADULT:  $119, CHILDREN 12 & UNDER: $110)

The state-of-the-art 75,000-square-foot museum brings the pages of the Bible to life, casting its characters and animals in dynamic form and placing them in familiar settings. Adam and Eve live in the Garden of Eden. Majestic murals provide a backdrop for many of the settings. Time is allowed to interact with over 160 exhibits and to experience “The Ark”, the museums brand new exhibit.

TALL SHIPS COME TO ERIE, PA ($57)

Eight majestic Tall Ships participating in the Tall Ship Challenge 2016 are expected to sail into Erie’s Harbor and will be available to board and talk to the crew members.  Other festivities will include food, entertainment, and vendors. The ships will not be visiting Cleveland this year so this is your only chance to see them!

MARIETTA, OHIO “The Ohio River Sternwheeler Festival” ($90)

We’ll be arriving in Marietta just in time to choose a delicious lunch from the vendors set up for the festival or from one of the quaint riverside cafes.  A step on guide will meet us after lunch for a one-hour tour of the area, following which you will have time to take in the activities at the festival.  The highlight of our day will be the dinner cruise on board the Valley Gem Sternwheeler.

SEPTEMBER 15 - THURS     

OHIO DUTCH BROWN BAG TOUR($89)

Travel to the Ohio Dutch country near Berlin, OH and visit some of our all-time favorite Amish shops.  Stops will be made at Heini’s Cheese, Coblentz Chocolates, Hershberger Bakery and Farmers Market, Swiss Village Bulk Foods, time to shop in Berlin and/ or Zinck’s Fabric Outlet.  Of course a scrumptious Amish buffet lunch is included.  You will receive goodies at each stop and hear interesting facts about the Amish from our step on guide.  If the bus on September 15 fills up, an alternate date will be offered.

The pages of Country Living Magazine come to life! Browse through the Antiques, Artisans, Home, Harvest, food vendor booths & much more, rain or shine at Ohio Village in Columbus, Ohio.  Admission to the Ohio History Connection Museum is included.  Spend the day shopping and maybe take in one of the many featured seminars. This tour requires a lot of walking on gravel pathways and grassy areas, but the group who attended last year loved it!

Watch the excitement, confusion, and just plain frantic fun when a small town cable cooking show, hosted by two Mennonite women, attracts the attention of a Hollywood producer. This brand new one-act play mixes faith, food, and friendship into a comedy that really sizzles!  A fabulous lunch at Dutch Valley Restaurant and a stop at the largest cuckoo clock in the world are included before the matinee show.

Spend the day at one of Western Pennsylvania’s favorite and fastest growing festivals, Franklin's Applefest.  We spend the day at Franklin’s Applefest.This festival has been growing yearly and boasts over 300 vendors, food booths and farmer’s market.  We complete the day along the beautiful shores of the Allegheny River at the Foxburg Winery. CUYAHOGA RR/ HARTVILLE KITCHEN LUNCH ($75)

This afternoon it’s all-aboard the Cuyahoga Railroad as it makes its way through the beautiful Cuyahoga National ParkExplore the beautiful scenery from a vintage train car.

OCTOBER 14 - FRI  

WESTERN MARYLAND SCENIC RAIL ROAD($90)

Our coach will deliver us to Cumberland, Maryland, for a round trip ride on Western Maryland Scenic Railroad’s “Mountain Thunder” steam train.The Helmstetter’s Horseshoe Curve, Brush Tunnel, a mile long gorge and much more, will highlight your route through the gorgeous autumn foliage.  You will be issued a box lunch to enjoy on the train en route to Frostburg, 1,300 feet up.See the train engine turned on the turntable and browse the gift shops before it’s “all aboard” for the return trip.  We’ll have some time following the ride to browse through the shops and displays at the train station.

Our first stop this morning will be the Flight 93 Memorial and the new Visitor Center.  A brief lunch stop will be made at Seven Springs Resort amid their Autumn Fest before traveling on to Falling water, Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterpiece in the western Pennsylvania Mountains.

OCTOBER 19 - WED

HOCKING VALLEY SCENIC RAIL ROAD ($89)

This is a brand new Fall Foliage trip to the Hocking Hills of Ohio nestled in the Appalachian Basin.  Our first stop will be The Columbus Washboard Company, the last remaining in the USA.  This fascinating tour will be a step back in time to when everything was “made in the USA”.  Lunch is Amish Style and included at Olde Dutch Restaurant.  Following our delicious lunch will be the highlight of the day, an approx. 2 hour ride on the historic Hocking Valley Scenic Railway. Pulled by a diesel engine from the 1950’s, the cars date from the 60’s. Gaze at the remnants of the Hocking Canal and the Hocking River Valley decked out in all its autumn glory!

Join us as we travel north through the peak autumn foliage.  Our destination is the charming town of Niagara on the Lake wearing it’s autumn finery.  This beautiful little town is ripe for the picking with shopping and dining to satisfy the most discerning.  Before departing we’ll visit Konzelman’s Winery directly on the lake, complete with a tasting.  We’ll have time to see glorious Niagara Falls before departing for our return.  Come see the best autumn has to offer!

“JOSIAH FOR PRESIDENT” AT THE CARLISLE INN ($93)

Right before our Presidential election see if an Amish farmer can make the cut for President. Josiah is unknowingly introduced as a write in candidate for president.  Can a plain man of faith turn the tide of politics and become the leader of America? His story unfolds in this brand new musical at the beautiful Carlisle Inn in Sugarcreek.  A fabulous meal at the Dutch Valley Restaurant and a stop at the largest cuckoo clock in the world are included before the matinee.

CASTLE NOEL in MEDINA, OH ($79)

Our first stop will be Root Candles and Outlet for a little shopping, or you can browse the huge antique store next door.  Lunch will be included at picturesque Corkscrew Saloon, a former bordello!  After this we’ll go over town to visit one of Ohio’s newest attractions, Castle Noel.  You will be amazed here at your tour of Hollywood Christmas movie sets, over 4 million dollars’ worth of retired Christmas window displays from the likes of Macy’s New York, Bloomingdales, Saks and, new this year, the original windows from Kauffman’s in downtown Pittsburgh!.  See toys of your childhood and explore the set of “Christmas Story” or “Christmas Vacation”.  Groups of all ages LOVED this attraction last year. A dinner stop will be made at Lodi Outlets with an opportunity to ride their vintage train!

ARTS & CRAFTS HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR ($50)

The 19th annual Greater Pittsburgh Arts & Crafts Christmas Spectacular has been voted the number one Christmas show in Pennsylvania with over 280 exhibitors in the Monroeville Convention Center. With ample shopping time at the show, we’ll make a dinner stop at the nearby Monroeville Mall. En route home we’ll drive through Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland at the Butler Fairgrounds and get your Christmas Season kicked off right!

PITTS STRIP /ROSS PARK MALL/HOLIDAY MARKET ($36)

Pick up your Holiday needs at the Pittsburgh Strip District and have time for lunch at one of their cafés. This afternoon you will have a chance to shop in the popular ROSS PARK MALL. We’ll stop by Pittsburgh’s newest Christmas attraction, The European Holiday Market, set up in chalets built around the Christmas Tree on Market Square.

The Amish Country Theater is located in Walnut Creek, Ohio, and is Amish Country's critically acclaimed live theater.   Enjoy their all new and special “CHRISTMAS IN THE COUNTRY” production. DECEMBER 1 - THURS

“I’LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS” ($79)

With an early afternoon departure we’ll arrive in Cambridge, Ohio.  Here we will be met at the visitor center by a step on guide in period costume to point out the life sized Dickens Village vignettes scattered throughout this charming town.  The highlight of our tour will be the light show at the Guernsey County Court House, choreographed to music.  From here we will head to nearby Newcomerstown to enter into yesteryear.  We will be seated for dinner on Main Street in the 1940’s.  While we dine, the village, all decorated for Christmas will come alive with residents of the village going about their daily lives. Once the village is alive, the Victory Canteen Singers will serenade you with their songs of the 40’s.  You will have an opportunity to purchase some of the Christmas décor and to visit the small gift shop before our early evening departure.

Everything Christmas rolled into one tour!!  Begin the day at the Pittsburgh Holiday Market followed by time and dinner on your own in the Strip District.  This evening visit the Winter Flower Show and Light Gardens at Phipp’s Conservatory.  This is an exciting exhibit of sparkling, luminous orbs, trees and fountains of light enhancing the already awesome Winter Flower Show.  Before returning home, we will drive through the new Shadrack’s Christmas Light display at the Butler Fairgrounds.

Begin the day with a delicious lunch at Hartville Kitchen followed by time for some shopping at Hartville Market Place.  Spend the remainder of the day at Stan Hywet Hall for the annual “Deck The Halls” celebration. Stroll through the incredible mansion and enjoy the performers in the Music Room, Jingle Bell Forest boasting over 500,000 lights and don’t miss the nightly lighting of the tree by Santa himself!!

Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland at the Butler County Fairgrounds tops off this perfectly festive day.This spectacle takes light shows to a whole new level, integrating, custom built animated elements
