In 2009 Breakaway Tours will instituted the inaugural Cruise for the Cause, to benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. This is a program by Carnival that donates $170 per cabin to the Cause while still giving a rock bottom rate, and, to top it off, everyone has a great winter get-away. In 2009, 49 people cruised with us with a donation to Relays from all over of $3,570. and we have a nice crowd coming on the brand new Carnival Dream January 30-Feb. 6, 2010. You know that trip to Alaska has always been on your “bucket list”, and here is your chance to do it all! Fly to Seattle and overnight before flying to Anchorage to start your cruisetour of Alaska. Day 3 will find you riding Princess Railcars to Talkeetna, then onto the Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge with a free evening here. Day 4 includes a scenic motor coach journey to Denali National Park and the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge with a free day to explore. Day 6, ride the Denali Express Rail direct to your awaiting Princess ship in Whittier where you will embark this evening and set sail. While on board, your itinerary will include a Hubbard Glacier scenic crossing, scenic cruising of Glacier Bay national Park, ports at Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, a day at sea and arrival into Vancouver. From Vancouver a motor coach will meet us to travel back to Seattle airport for the return trip.
