Breakaway ToursIt is our pleasure to present you with our 2009 tour schedule. Although this schedule is as complete as possible, watch for additions in our newspaper ads and in our autumn brochure. We have been happy with the response to our new, more lenient booking policies and plan to continue the program. Please notice the terms, especially regarding cancellation and particularly new Cancellation Protection terms. With purchase of the tour protection, you may now cancel for ANY reason. Also, balances are not due on overnight trips until 30 days before departure, when cancellation protection is also due, and you may cancel with a full refund up until 30 days before departure on any trip without airfare, excepting cruises, which are subject to cruise line rules. We can’t do anything about the economy, but we can try and help in other ways. As most of you are aware, occasionally a tour does not get enough interest to fill it sufficiently and it must cancel. You can help us with this problem by calling to let us know if you are interested in a tour, even if you think it is too early. Often hotels and attractions hold us to strict cancellation policies and if we know you are interested, it could make a difference! We were pleased in 2008 that our rate of cancellation was at an all time low. We are continuing to partner with McCarter Coach and Tour, whose beautiful, new, comfortable coaches we use, so that each of us lessens our chance of cancellation. These trips will bear the slogan “In conjunction with McCarter”. It looks as though this is finally the year that we will be required to have passports to enter Canada, although there is a less expensive alternative. It is the *U.S. Passport Card that is $45 for first time applicants, or $20 for those holding a current passport and it is good for 10 years. It cannot be used for international air travel, but is good for land or sea entry for Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda. Order time is three weeks. We are proud to be part of the “Save a Penguin, Take a Motor Coach” program through American Bus Association and the “green” facts about bus travel are throughout this brochure. Look for our ads, as always, in the NEW CASTLE NEWS, ELLWOOD CITY LEDGER and YOUNGSTOWN VINDICATOR for any additional tours.

We are pleased by how many of you have been taking advantage of our Full Service Travel Agency with Karen Gish at the helm. Thank you for your past business and we look forward to traveling with old and new friends in 2009.
