FLORIDA WINTER VACATION

Think about the cold, nasty, freezing, snowing winter we lived through last year. Now think about our neighbors to the south basking in sunlight, on the beach or by the pool. Think about palm trees and pretty flowers blooming. Now, in which scene do you see yourself the happiest? If the answer is the sunshine, then we have a trip for you. We have sharpened our pencils to make this an affordable way to get away from the snow! Our first day’s travel will take us to the Comfort Inn Carowinds for our overnight stay. Continuing south our arrival in Daytona Beach, Florida will see us checking in to the La Playa Resort at www.daytonahotels.com for the next 12 nights. Situated on the ocean, your room is an ocean front kitchenette. With 23 miles of beach in your front yard and a grocery store and shops across the street, you are all set for a relaxing vacation. Be adventurous and hop aboard a local transit bus that runs past the hotel, or just relax and work on your tan. This trip will have one driver/escort. Trips to Disney World, Kennedy Space Center and a shopping trip to St. Augustine will be offered at a cost of $15 per day plus any admissions. Our overnight en route home will be in Fort Mill, SC and a stop at Tamarack in West Virginia will highlight our last day of travel.
