AMERICA’S 250TH BIRTHDAY PARTY!!
BOSTON HARBOR FIREWORKS / CANNONADE

Come and celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary with us as we travel to one of our country’s most historic cities, Boston, Massachusetts.  With an early morning departure our dinner this evening will be in Essex, CT, included at the historic Griswold Inn, founded in 1776!  Mid evening we’ll check into our hotel near Boston’s historic Charles River.  Tomorrow we’ll set out for a tour of all that makes Boston special, including the Back Bay, Boston Common, the old Statehouse and the Freedom Trail.  Lunch will be at a place of your choice in historic Quincy Market with historic Fanuel Hall adjacent.  This afternoon, we will visit the Charleston Navy Yard with a chance to board the USS Constitution (Old Ironsides), the oldest commissioned warship afloat in the world!  You may also have time to board the USS Casin Young, a World War II Navy Destroyer.  Before dinner we’ll travel through nearby Cambridge and see Harvard, the nation’s oldest university.  Return to the hotel will be followed by an included dinner.  An exciting July 4th starts with a luncheon cruise on board the Spirit of Boston.  From the ship we will be able to see the USS Constitution as she makes her way to Fort Independence on Castle Island and presents a 21-gun salute to honor the nation!   After this exciting cruise, we’ll stop by the beautiful historic JFK Library and Museum.  After returning to the hotel area, you will have time for dinner at a place of your choice before the main event.   You will need to bring a chair in a bag with you for the fireworks.  We will make the short jaunt to our ring side seats for the Fireworks over the St, Charles River, accompanied by the storied Boston Pops Orchestra.  What a way to celebrate America!!!
