1000 ISLANDS SIGHTSEEING/ KINGSTON, ON PASSPORT REQUIRED*

It’s an exciting day to be back to traveling to our friends up North! An early morning departure, with rest and a meal stop enroute, will have us in the picturesque waterfront village of Clayton, NY. Our home away from home will be at the BEAUTIFUL Harbor Hotel, a AAA Four Diamond rated property. Your first evening is yours to explore the hotel, village and enjoy the breath-taking views. Our next day will be all about the water, with a 5-hour sightseeing cruise and picnic lunch included! Some highlights on our journey will be; St. Lawrence Seaway, Rock Island and Lighthouse, Thousand Island Park, Devil’s Oven, Bolt Castle and Millionaires’ Row. The rest of the evening is yours to explore the charming village and even check out their museums, history and restaurants, all within walking distance of the hotel. This will be peak season and remember your walking shoes! For those that want to stay closer to the hotel, there is a restaurant on sight as well as a wonderful courtyard! After breakfast we will head up north in Kingston, ON *PASSPORT REQUIRED* for a guided tour of the Kingston Penitentiary. After that, we will make a quick stop at the Gananoque Visitors Center to pick up a few maps and then take some time to explore the town of Gananoque for lunch on your own. After lunch we will head back to the US side and enjoy a wine tasting and tour at 1000 Island Winery before our included Traditional Shore Dinner!! Dinners include fresh fish, French toast, potatoes, and a sandwich with fried pork strips. And, of course, a salad with Thousand Islands Dressing. This is cooked and served in the great outdoor just like the fisherman do it! We will say goodbye to the water the next morning, after breakfast, and travel to Destiny, USA, the 9th largest shopping mall in the country. Enjoy lunch and some shopping before we depart for home.
