Lancaster getaway—as close to a “Lancaster Express” as we can make it! Our adventure begins with an afternoon departure and a relaxing ride into the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Upon arrival, we head straight to the legendary Shady Maple Smorgasbord for an included dinner buffet featuring endless homestyle favorites. After your meal, enjoy time browsing their massive gift shop, filled with local crafts, treats, and unique finds. We then make our way to the comfortable and charming Country Inn of Lancaster for our overnight stay. The next day begins with a full country breakfast at the hotel before we depart for the magnificent Sight & Sound Theatre for the inspiring production of “JOSHUA.” Experience this powerful biblical story brought to life through immersive sets, emotionally rich music, and the signature storytelling Sight & Sound is celebrated for. Following the show, we enjoy an included lunch at the Hershey Farm Resort, offering delicious homestyle dishes and Pennsylvania Dutch specialties. After lunch, we make a rest stop on our route home, returning with wonderful memories of food, fellowship, and uplifting entertainment.
