Head south with us on this brand-new tour with many exciting new tour components. Our first day’s travel will take us to Franklin, TN to check into the Drury Inn in time for the “kickback”, included dinner and drinks. After a full American breakfast, it’s off to the deep south. Our lunch will be included in Birmingham, AL at Irondale Café, based on the original Whistle Stop Café from the movie “Fried Green Tomatoes”. Late afternoon will find us checking into the elegant Imperial Palace in Biloxi, MS on the bay side of the Gulf Coast. Dinner will be included here. Day 3 we’ll head east to nearby Mobile, AL for an exciting day of touring. Our morning will be spent exploring Bellingrath Gardens and Museum Home Tour with lunch included here. This is a magical place with endless varieties of foliage. After lunch is one of the highlights of our tour, a tour of Flight Works Alabama, a U.S. Airbus Manufacturing Facility. The final Assembly Line Hangar is longer than 2 football fields with 91-foot ceilings. You will marvel at seeing these aircraft come to life in this, the first such facility to offer tours to the public. On our way back to Biloxi, we will stop in the charming beach town of Ocean Springs for some shopping and dinner at a place of your choice. Day 4, after our full breakfast, prepare to be amazed again at Infinity Science Center. Here you will go behind the scenes at the nation’s largest rocket engine test facility and a unique federal city of more than 30 agencies. You will see the massive test stands used to test the engines that propelled humans to the moon! Lunch will be included at Nola Southern Grill followed by a Swamp Tour of Honey Island Swamp to hear about the swamp and see gators and other wildlife. A fun tour. Dinner this evening will also be fun at Shaggy’s on the Beach right on the Gulf. Following breakfast, the next morning, we’ll head north to overnight at Drury Inn in Bowling Green, KY. Our 5th morning, after breakfast, we’ll head into downtown Louisville for a tour and tasting at famed Evan Williams Bourbon. See the 3-story high bottle of Bourbon. A late lunch will be included in Newport, KY at Hofbräuhaus. This tour has something for everyone, and we hope you agree and join us!
