CELEBRATE AMERICA’S 250TH WITH  PHILADELPHIA’S HIGHLIGHTS

Join us as we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with a wonderful journey to historic and exciting Philadelphia! After a morning departure, our first stop will be Peddler’s Village in Lahaska, PA where you’ll have time for lunch and exploring on your own among the charming shops and pathways of this beautiful countryside village. We then continue on to our hotel, the Holiday Inn Express – Midtown, for an early evening check-in and time to freshen up before our included Dinner Cruise aboard the Spirit of Philadelphia. Enjoy great food, stunning skyline views, and a relaxing evening on the water. After an included breakfast at the hotel the next morning, we will depart for the Philadelphia Zoo, where the exciting new exhibit Bear Country is expected to be open and ready to enjoy. Even if the exhibit is not available, the zoo remains one of the nation’s finest and always a treat to visit. Following the zoo, we meet our step-on guide for a city tour highlighting America’s 250th Anniversary, including visits to the Liberty Bell, the famous Rocky Steps, and a drive through the city to view its vibrant and artistic public murals. We then make our way to the King of Prussia Mall—one of the largest shopping malls in the U.S.—where you’ll have time for dinner and shopping on your own. Eataly, newly opened in the mall, is a perfect option for an unforgettable meal! Afterwards, we return to the hotel. Our final morning begins with another included breakfast before we depart for Independence Hall, the birthplace of the nation. We then head to Reading Terminal Market, one of America’s oldest and most iconic public markets, where you’ll enjoy lunch on your own from an incredible variety of food vendors. Be sure to try an authentic Philly cheesesteak before we begin our journey home.
