The Jack O’Lantern Blaze/ Mystic/Boston/Salem/ West Point

Travel with us to celebrate the spooky season like never before. A picturesque time of year to sit back and enjoy the fall foliage as our first night takes us to the Hudson Valley Region for The Great Jack O’ Lantern Blaze. This gourd-eous immersive pumpkin trail is on the grounds of an 18th century estate with more than 7,000 illuminated jack o’ lanterns—all designed and hand-carved on site by a team of artisans. Dinner is included at 84-Diner before we explore The Blaze. An easy travel day will have us stopping in Mystic, CT at Olde Mistick Village for time to shop, dine and take a stroll through this iconic 1720- style Colonial Village. After a wonderful afternoon we will continue our journey to Dedham, MA for a two-night stay at a beautiful Courtyard by Marriott (baggage handling not included at this hotel) your evening is free to enjoy as you wish. An exclusive buffet breakfast is included for the group before it is finally time to enjoy all things Salem, MA. Grab your brooms as we fly straight to the Salem Witch Museum to follow the history of witches, witchcraft, and witch hunts through the ages. Next on the list we will head to The Real Pirates Museum. Here, you’ll find a stunning partial replica of the Whydah Gally pirate ship and learn about the local pirate, Captain Sam Bellamy. It is also home to the world’s first fully authenticated pirate treasure. You will be turned loose to explore the rest of the historic town to enjoy a late lunch at a plethora of restaurants. Witch trial museums and other memorabilia pepper this town including the sites where Hocus Pocus the movie was filmed. We will travel back to our hotel for an evening free. Another breakfast buffet included before we say goodbye to Dedham and hello to the capital of Massachusetts, Boston! We will meet our step on guide, and they will show us the best of this historic city. A lunch stop will be made at Quincy Market before our Boston Tea Party Experience to re-enact the event that started a revolution. Our rest/dinner stop will be made in the capitol city Hartford, CT near Asylum St. at a restaurant of your choosing, returning late evening to the Hampton Inn Fishkill, NY for our last overnight. Sunday morning we’ll set out for West Point to enjoy a guided tour of the Military Academy grounds followed by time for lunch at a place of your choice in Highland Falls, with a late evening arrival home. Please note that this tour includes a lot of free time and does require a moderate amount of walking.
