WILDWOOD, NJ OLDIES WEEKEND
OCTOBER 15-18                                          4 DAYS/3 NIGHTS
It’s time to revisit our old friend, Wildwood, NJ on the Jersey Shore as they hold their annual Oldies weekend featuring the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s music.  This seaside resort has long been touted as a living museum to these eras and this weekend celebrates that fact.  Our first day will take us to our host hotel, The Adventurer Oceanfront Inn, right on the beach!  Dinner will be included here upon our arrival.  On Friday morning, we’ll travel to nearby Cape May, NJ for some shopping and lunch on your own.  This charming village is known for having the most Victorian homes of any in the nation.  A Trolley Tour of the town will be included before plenty of time on your own.  Arriving back in Wildwood, we’ll enjoy another included dinner before the evening event.  Featured tonight is an oldies Dance Party at the convention center, where you can cut a rug, or just enjoy watching and listening to the nostalgic music.  Saturday you will have ample time to enjoy the Car Show and Festival and to walk the boardwalk before choosing your own place for dinner before the show.  The main event is tonight in the Convention Center as groups from the past take the stage.  This year’s entertainment has not been announced but in ’25 The Pointer Sisters and The Spinners headlined and in ’24 it was Frankie Avalon, the Lettermen and The Shirelles.  You can expect a similar caliber, and the names should be announced this summer.  After breakfast Sunday we’ll set out for our return, but the fun is not over yet as we stop at historic Smithville Village for some browsing and lunch at one of their eateries.  Arrival back will be mid evening.  Relive your youth with us!!
