FRENCH LICK RESORT

Our travels take us to the luxurious French lick Resort in French Lick, Indiana.  A delicious lunch at the Hofbräuhaus in Newport, KY is included enroute.  This evening is free to enjoy dinner on your own at the Resort, take the free trolley to see the opulent West Baden Springs Hotel, try your luck in the casino, take advantage of the relaxing pools or just enjoy the beauty and majesty of this historic Resort.  Following an amazing breakfast buffet, included, day two is filled with fun as we visit the French Lick Winery and ride through the Hoosier National Forest on the French Lick Scenic Railroad, box lunch included on the train. Tour the French Lick West Baden Museum to learn about some of the region’s history, famous artists and the world’s largest circus diorama of the Hagenbeck Wallace Circus.  Time is included downtown to visit the quaint shops and Bear Hollow Wood Carvers.  Don’t miss seeing their one-of-a-kind carvings done with chainsaws! An evening at Abbeydell Hall, the former estate of basketball legend, Larry Byrd includes a delicious dinner and Branson style show!  Following another awesome breakfast buffet, we head to Louisville for a tour of the Kentucky Derby Museum and historic tour of famous Churchill Downs.  A Kentucky style lunch at the track is included before departing for home.  Arrival home will be mid evening after an amazing, fun filled trip.
