LONG ISLAND ADVENTURE
AMERICAN DREAM MALL/ LONG ISLAND/MANHATTAN

The American Dream Mall in Rutherford, NJ, just outside New York City is one of the nation’s wonders.  It features everything from indoor skiing to putt putt golf to a giant Ferris wheel called the Dream Wheel, along with delightful shopping and dining.  We will have the late afternoon and early evening to enjoy the mall before checking into our nearby hotel.  In the morning, following breakfast, we will head out to Long Island.  Our first stop will be the charming village of Bridgehampton where you can have lunch at a place of your choice and browse some of the charming shops.  Then we’ll head out to the famous Montauk Light House for a tour.  On our way to the hotel, we may have time to stop by famous Cooper’s Beach for a short stroll.   Our hotel is the Hyatt Place in Riverhead, Long Island and dinner is included at a nearby restaurant.  Tomorrow we will start the day with a trip to the Long Island Aquarium, adjacent to the hotel.  Lunch will be in the gorgeous dining room, the Ohk Room, at Oheka Castle in Huntington, NY on the highest point on Long Island.  A tour of the public rooms of this European Style castle will follow lunch.  A tasting at beautiful Osprey Winery will round out the day followed by time for dinner at a place of your choice near the hotel.     On our last day, we will make the journey into downtown Manhattan for our one-night stay, with a lunch stop in Connecticut.  This evening we’ll walk to nearby Tony DiNapoli’s for a family style dinner.  If you are interested in show tickets, please call and we can help you.   After our breakfast, included, our coach will take us down to Battery Park where you may take the ferry past the Statue of Liberty or purchase tickets to visit Liberty Island.  After lunch at Brookfield Place in lower Manhattan, we’ll depart the city with a mid-evening return.  What an exciting trip!!
